About the opportunity:
A seat at the forefront of project origination: Our team has built a product that has generated more than USD 2.5 billion indicated debt volume from 45 onboarded financial institutions. With financiers covering all risk appetites and capital hungry ship owners on our platform, there are vast deal opportunities. 

Fully leverage your capabilities equipped with the right infrastructure: With the oceanis products at your disposal, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills and knowledge at a greater scale than ever before. Many projects have strong potential, however, often the details can get in the way of the project materializing. We work hard to identify and solve these details early on. You can help us become even better at it.
Tackle most interesting and impactful problems: Our team is still small, and people wear many hats. You have the chance to jump between deal sourcing, project structuring, analysis, processes optimization - participating in every phase from sourcing to closing and assisting with product development. In this role, you will:
  • See the opportunities that lie in the current market for shipping finance. Being well positioned with 45 industry-leading financial institutions onboarded, you will assist the ship owners in the market to reach the full potential of what today’s and tomorrow’s financing markets can offer.
  • Learn more about the capabilities and preferences of various financial institutions and do your best to attract valuable projects for the financiers to consider. 
  • Evaluate the financing requests via our platform and proactively seek to structure feasible projects that can attract market interest. 
  • Proactively look for demand from ship owners and other industry stakeholders that would benefit from the cost- and time-efficient way of sourcing financing indications via the oceanis platform. 
  • Be in frequent dialogue with the product team for further development of the value offering of the oceanis product. 
What we value:
  • You've worked independently with financial structuring of shipping projects and can market these to investors on both equity- and lending sides of the capital structure. 
  • You've spent meaningful time working in the shipping industry, ideally in investment banking or a project house. 
  • You enjoy the process of driving deals forward to the benefit of every party involved with the added pleasure of knowing that it gets a little easier every time. 
  • You enjoy working with other people to realize business opportunities and to improve the status quo of operations.
  • You have an established network in the industry which you enjoy creating business opportunities for and assisting with taking the next step in terms of technology adoption in the industry.
  • You are fluent in English. Fluency in German, Norwegian or Greek would be a plus.
