Join us at a magical time: We have raised our first substantial round, which gives us a green field to work with and build our core team. You would join at the perfect time to shape the business and the whole shipping industry.

• Build new product features from start to finish: through conception, research, maintenance, and polish. Think features to improve the financing process from asset upload to loan drawdown.
• Create improvements to performance, reliability, and product polish for our front- and backend — for example, accelerate our website performance or improve data/credit analysis by integrating APIs.
• Improve and develop processes and internal tools with simplicity and productivity in mind — such as, our back-office product to enable our non-technical team members to do what matters most, helping our customers get the best possible financing.
• Decide how and in which tech-stack you want to ship our products. We are currently working with a stack that combines the advantages of Vue.js, Nuxt.js and PHP (Laravel). For the future, we are really interested in your input on that.

• You have built and maintained quality user interfaces that have reached audience, ideally while the product is experiencing rapid growth.
• You have spent meaningful time as a senior engineer and have gained expertise in a variety of working environments.
• You have experience with Vue.js, Nuxt.js and PHP (Laravel) or comparable languages / frameworks.
• You can readily learn most technologies as you go. To you, technologies are about tools and tradeoffs, not an ideology.
• You care about the business implications of anything you build. You are not just going after cool stuff — you understand the balance between craft, speed, and the bottom line.
• You are fluent in English. Fluency in German would be a plus.
